“BELIEVE IN YOURSELF” Well said! John.
Merriam-Webster defines entrepreneur as ”one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.” There are three qualities listed within this definition; organizer, manager, and risk taker. Your role as entrepreneur will encompass all three qualities as you move through the business planning and operations stages.
As you think about how to be an entrepreneur and review who you are and your potential for starting a small business, or your current adventure of business ownership, look at your life and previous work/business experiences for guidance. At BDN we believe that there are elements of an entrepreneur within all of us and one of our roles is to call out the dream and/or entrepreneur within you. This article speaks to the truth that many of the traits necessary to an entrepreneur are common to many of us, and an MBA or corporate experience is far from required. Surround yourself with individuals who affirm these qualities or help you develop them.
